Racing Toward My LightI could feel my lungs being to burst as I ran. My legs were pumping as fast as I could make them go, and still I forced them to work harder. I could see my goal up ahead, a bright blue light. No matter how hard I ran, no matter how fast I went, no matter how hard I worked for my goal, the light stayed just out of my reach. As I ran, I realized that I was closer than ever. I could almost touch its pale blue light, burning bright in the dark forest around me. I am nearly tripped in my persuit.
